In the deep of the blackness, far off in the depths of the void, the relics drift in a clutter of lifeless alloys. No one knows when it started, where these wrecks and gutted husks originated nor from whom. Few even know this cluster exists save the occasional traveler who should chance upon this spread. Pushed along by solar winds and drawn by gravitational eddies, it wanders through the emptiness. This gathering of lost souls and forgotten ambitions has no home and shall never find one save to fall into some fatal mass from which it cannot escape. But this may never come to pass and eternity in the void may be all the fates have written.

This long form ambient drone piece has been constructed using material originally produced as background ambience for a series of other Blood 'n' Tongue compositions created throughout 2010. Some 27 elements were selected and then remixed, layered and sequenced in order to create this continuous 56 minute composition.

The intent of this artifact is to function as a calling card when approaching others who may wish to become involved in the greater SG concept. This concept is to create a kind of loose techno tribe of intelligent, creative individuals who are seeking to showcase their abilities and talents in a way which is simply not possible when working alone and in isolation. This recording demonstrates the basic principles of Spaceship Graveyard in a way which encourages others to make their own interpretation and to bring the results into the greater whole of the project. More than merely a clever title, Spaceship Graveyard offers the opportunity to create a real social movement within an extended creative family. We are facing dark days ahead and it behooves us to think in advance of the kind of tribe we will need to survive once the inevitable collapse of western society occurs. There will be a day when the infrastructure we depend upon will vanish and we will be left to fend for ourselves. The social and tribal bonds we create now could be the difference between survival and extinction in the times to come.
